Frozen Rosy Rosé
Get ready for summer drink days because this is an exceptionally fun and aromatic season's treat!
Go indulge yourself in a glass of frozen rosy rosé. I'll show you how.
What you need is:
1 750ml bottle of Rosé (your choice but bold is better)
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water
2 tablespoons of rose syrup
Rose Essence
5 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice
Before you start
You'll need a blender.
A little bit of ice.
Make sure you have enough pans to hold the 750ml bottle of Rosé.
Pour your rosé into a shallow pan and freeze until it's almost solid. This takes around 6 hours/ overnight.
How to make:
Freeze the rosé.
Make the rose-infused simple syrup by mixing 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of water, and 2 tablespoons of rose syrup into a small pan on medium heat. Mix until the sugar dissolves then remove from heat to let it cool.
Once the syrup is cooled, you can add as many drops of rose essence as you like to enhance the rose aroma.
Take the frozen rosé and put it in a blender along with the simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice. Blend until it's smooth.
Then move the content back into the freezer for 30 mins, this should harden the rosé a little bit before blending again.
Grab some cute margarita cups and serve away!
